If you can’t make any of our regular classes why not arrange your own private lessons (for groups of four or more)?

There are two basic options:

1. You come to Burford and have a lesson in our beautiful teaching room at Island House, Lower High Street, Burford OX18 4RR. This costs £100 for four players / £160 for eight / £200 for twelve. Sessions last two hours and include notes and a coffee break. Times and days arranged to suit you. Off-street parking available.
(Why not combine your lesson with lunch and shopping in Burford? Before or after – or both!)

2. I come to you. This is £140 for four (or five) players + travel time (at £25 per hour). Typically this means a total cost of £160 for four players. Groups of eight are £160 + travel. Groups of more than eight are £20 per player including travel. Please note that groups between six and eight are charged at the rate of eight  (i.e. six or seven players would be charged at £160 + travel).

We can also arrange whole days from 10am to 4pm (usually a Saturday).  Complete beginners benefit most from an initial weekend course: all day Saturday + half-day Sunday. Full days / weekends are for a minimum of eight players.

We usually operate within a 20 mile radius of Burford, OX18, but regularly run sessions for groups further afield (e.g. London). Please call me to discuss your requirements: 01993 822450

We can provide all the necessary equipment: tables, cards, set-hands etc. (you just need to supply the chairs!).

Lessons can be a one-off or a more regular once a week, once a fortnight, once a month…….whatever suits you.

You can take a structured course or you can explore individual subjects of your choice.
